Easy Read: Chair Exercises

It can be hard to keep fit. Not everyone can go to the gym or pay for a trainer. But you can do chair exercises at home or with friends. You just need a chair.

Seated marches are easy. Sit up straight. Lift one knee to your chest. Put it down. Do the same with the other knee. This helps your legs.

For leg extensions, sit and stretch one leg out. Hold it, then lower it. This helps your leg muscles. Toe lifts are good too. Sit with feet flat. Lift your toes up, keeping heels down.

Calf raises need you to stand. Hold a chair for balance. Lift your heels up. Stand on your toes. This helps your calves. Torso twists are done sitting. Cross arms on chest. Twist your body side to side.

A chest stretch is easy. Sit up, pull shoulders back, and stretch arms out. Push your chest forward. This helps your chest muscles. Bicep curls can be done with or without weights. Sit, tuck elbows in, and curl arms up.

These exercises help keep you strong and healthy. They are good for your posture and core. You can do them alone or with others. They are simple and fun.

Doing exercises and reading helpful articles can make you feel better. They can help you learn new things. It is important to stay active and informed.
